It's led by Sam Ling and his father, who between them bring more than 20 years of combined climbing, cutting and rigging experience to every job. Sam's father has been doing tree work for 45 years and still works alongside him on the tools today. Depending on the job, the team on site is anywhere from a small two-man crew up to a full squad — we have between 6 and 10 people available, all fully qualified arborist climbers. We look after homeowners, landlords, managing agents, schools, care homes and estates across Watford, Bushey, Radlett, Harrow, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Northwood, Pinner, Tring and the wider Hertfordshire and NW London area. Domestic gardens are our bread and butter, but a growing part of the business is scheduled maintenance contracts for property professionals who want one qualified team, one point of contact and one invoice. What we specialise in is the difficult, technical stuff — sectional dismantles in tight back gardens, reductions on protected trees, TPO and conservation-area paperwork, and safe removal of storm-damaged or diseased trees over cars, roofs and boundaries. That price includes climb, cuts, chipping and clear-up. What we quote is what you pay. Qualified climbers on every job All climbers are NPTC CS39 Tree Surgery certified and City & Guilds qualified. No untrained labourers up your tree with a chainsaw. Council paperwork handled If a tree is protected by a TPO or sits in a conservation area, we prepare and submit the application or 6-week notice on your behalf at no extra cost. Clean site at the end All arisings chipped or removed under our Environment Agency waste-carrier licence. We walk the finished job with you before we leave. Insured properly £10 million public liability and £5 million employers' liability. Certificates emailed on request before we start. 24/7 emergency response Office hours are 9am–5pm, but the phone is answered 24/7 and emergency call-outs for storm damage, dropped limbs and dangerous trees are handled straight away. Finished properly, every time We have no formal written guarantee scheme — what we do have is a simple commitment: we always make sure the work is finished and the customer is happy. Simple payment Fixed price per job quoted after we've seen the site. No deposit required.
